Alas, the free ride is
Alas, the free ride is over. I appears that my funds were running out and I had to scramble to find a real job. So I looked and looked, and began to think that I might need to move to a homeless shelter. But at the last minute, a friend of a friend called and I interviewed, and now I am in the office working at my new job. It all happened very quickly. I am now an Information Architect for another New York Interactive agency. It’s been 5 long months of carefree couch lounging, video-game playing, and chrisdiclerico.com building. But that NYS $405/week just isn’t cutting it anymore. I am soooo tired I can barely keep my eyes open. I haven’t gotten up before 1pm in months. Now I have another meeting. I think it’s my fourth meeting on my first day (to dicuss my fourth project). They really throw you to the lions here. Wish me luck. I think I’ll need it.
