As a break from today’s world affair’s discussion , which I will read and comment on when I get a chance, I would like to point out that one of my favorite bike builders, Chopperdave, will be on one of my favorite shows, Monster Garage, on the Discovery Channel tonight. 8 P.M. If you enjoy Junkyard Wars, Full Metal Challenge or Trading Spaces (well sort of) you may enjoy this.

Monster Garage rules! Do you know what the project is? My favorite one so far was when they converted the old bus into an amphibious vehicle. The best part was the guy who was working on the winch system all night long for opening and closing of the top almost crying when Jesse yelled at him. God I want to be on that show, but I would just yell at everyone and get in the way. Just like at my real job…
Hot Air Balloon. Now thing’s get interesting - if you car-into-boat project sinks, big deal you swim away. If this thing craps out when your way up there, bones are breaking.
Agreed about being on the show. I also have a problem with Jesse’s “I’m right, because it’s my show” bullshit. You’re dealing with a handful of skilled people, go with the best solution. Then again, I just don’t being told what to do, especially when the reasoning is “because I said so”.
