Joergen sent me this but he’s too lazy to post it himself. You know that classic Hollywood scream you hear in almost every movie? That’s called the Wilhelm. Apparantly a character named Wilhelm died in a western in the 50′s and they liked the way he screamed so it got sampled. A lot. Here’s a article on force.net and a movie which edits a lot of Wilhelm clips together, including the Starwars trilogy, Indy trilogy and Wilhelm himself.
And apparantly, but not in the movie, there’s a Wilhelm at Helm’s Deep in Two Towers. This time he’s an orc.
