hello lomo
The Lomo LC-A I “won” on eBay finally arrived, all the way from Slovakia. Although it arrived without the promised cracked plastic case and original Russian manual, I excitedly began shooting rolls of film. I made some mistakes, and most of the pictures I took are crap. This is NO fault of little lomo. I posted 17 images so far in a new photo category, “lomo“. You will, of course, see some of them in the Recent Photos area in the sidebar, but go to the Lomo photo section to see them all. Let me know what you think.

I really like “clock” and “tired lady”. Both are great. The best part is that your Lomo section already has more photos than any other section–and this is only the first round. It’s good to be inspired.
That tower is the NY Life building (or possibly the Metlife HQ’s)…Pretty sure NY Life. They did an awesome job restoring it.
Nice shots.
I love the little angry jewish kid…it looks like the Dad is getting ready to throw him into traffic.
very nice lomos. congrats. keep going.
Mike,

[…] One of my new friends, Hind, turns out to be an absolutely fantastic Lomo photographer. Some of her work is on display here in Dubai, and I hope to go see it this week. She shoots with an Actionsampler and Colorsplash, and I don’t know what else. I also have those cameras, but I barely ever use them. As you might recall, I have a very old Lomo LC-A from the Czech republic, and a recently gifted Holga. My lomohome hasn’t been updated in years. […]
