Meet Mark Walker. He’s a phenomenal basketball player. On Feb 4, 2003, he made 18 baskets in a row. He signed a deal with Reebok. He’s is really, really cute. The last statement doesn’t make me gay because Mark Walker is only 3 years old. You HAVE to see this.
Thanks to Slob for the link.
Speaking of great advertising and Reebok in the same sentence, Terry Tate is back and apparently he’s been voted Office Athlete of the Century. As usual, it is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. These just keep getting better and better.
“I’m a hitter, not a quitter, baby! WooooWooo!”
-Terrible Terry Tate
I cant foward this kinda stuff from work so i attached the link. I found it histerical.
I was working late on my ID class homework and I realized that my old hulk pixel person was horrible. I used to think it was great. Now that I have learned some new techniques for shading as are demonstrated on the Conan image from yesterday, I decided they should be used on a new […]
If this is true, Keanu Reeves just bumped himself all the way to the top of my favorite actors list. It looks true. According to this article, Keanu Reeves is giving $50,000,000 of his $70,000,000 take from the Matrix sequals to the 29 special effects and costume people individually! That’s $1.75 million each! According to […]
Here’s another incredible story. Raiders of the Lost Arc came out in 1981. Somewhere in Biloxi, Mississippi, 3 young 12 year old boys were enthralled. A year later, the boys, Eric Zala, Jayson Lamb and Chris Strompolis decided to film their own version of the movie (on betamax tape), with themselves as the stars. But, […]
Mark Evanier, whose blog I’ve posted before has a great story about Abe Vigoda cursing out Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the premier screening in 1977. Actually, the story’s about telling people the ending of movies and it’s all funny. But in the middle, Abe Vigoda’s total confusion at Spielberg’s breakthrough had me […]
For some reason or another when this story came out it struck a nerve. It made think that this country was really going down the tubes…The court system didnt let me down this time.
I think the Rossi brothers could have this locked up. Might be strong competition from people on this site.
This is serious (serious)
We could make you delirious (delirious)
You should have a healthy fear of us (fear of us)
Too much of us is dangerous (no, no, no, nooooo)
Doctors tell the pharmacy (pharmacy)
Types of pills that you will need (you will need)

The last post brought back memories. For some reason these came to mind. Remember the days of Saturday morning cartoons.
In my opinion, Pixar animation studios can do no wrong. Unfortunately I have not been able to see Finding Nemo, but I have loved everything else they’ve made (Toy Story 1 and 2, Monsters Inc, Bug’s Life). Each one of them has been a blockbuster and each one is significant;y keeping Disney afloat. Disney is […]
Virtually everyone should have recieved an email from Nigeria by now.
I got my first land mail from Dr. Victor Bamidele 6 years ago, and a couple of emails since then. Back then, the CIA had a small group of people working on it, because there are always some idiots out there who send money to […]
Yeah. I am watching this piece of shit movie, Not Another Teen Movie, in order to procrastinate some work I have to do. It is so not funny. I just can’t turn it off.
Two seconds ago, the prom queen of the movie’s prom was selected. It was a tie. Siamese twin girls attached at the […]
I am getting way too old for concerts. Especially now that they are ever more expensive, complicated and hire staffs that treat you like a felon.
In case you don’t know, the deal websites, dealnews.com, dealmac.com, and dealram.com often point me at some really great low prices. Well I have looking at digital cameras for the longest time. My Sony DSC-F55 isn’t cutting it anymore. It was state of the art when I got it in ’98 or ’99 ($700 at […]
I am pretty sure I found this link from Witold this week, but I have forgotten. In any case, Kevin Cornell’s Sketchbook is absolutely beautiful. Well done flash navigation complimenting fantastic sketches. I wish I could draw like this.
Thanks Witold, or whoever I got this link from.
I have googled and googled and googled and I cannot for the life of me find any information on who is the illustrator of the lavalife.com subway ads. I absolutely love the style. I wish I could get information on this. Do any of you know who this is or how I can find out. […]
Many video game fans and XBox owners have been chomping at the bit waiting for the second installation of the best game for XBox ever made, Halo. The sequal has been in production for a long time and its release has been delayed a few times already. It is expected to be released nowin March […]
This New Zealand man is building a cruise missile in his back yard for less that $5000US worth of parts he obtained mostly from eBay. He says he is doing it to prove how easy it is for terrorists to do within the borders of their enemies countries. He is posting the step-by-step on his […]
Design students built this high-tech wine bottle as part of a design competition sponsored by Hardy’s (they must make wine). It’s noteworthy features are a self-cooling mechanism in the neck of the bottle that chills the wine without a refrigerator and a small digital video screen on the label that plays video detailing the origin […]
I love this - if you have a minute watch
THIS video
then play with THIS site
hit “toggle music” and then click on the boxes
…hours of ghetto fun!
Walking with Cavemen on Discovery channel blows. It is seriously horrible. Witold warned me, but I had to see for myself. Even though I was expecting it, I have to say I laughed out loud when the “neandertaaal” hunter fell down a mountain, and exhibited “great tolerance to pain” by snapping his broken, z-shaped middle […]
Speaking of the Pentax Optio S… It arrived 2 nights ago, and it is spectacular. It really does fit in an Altoids can, and I really do keep it there. I feel like James Bond.
It wasn’t until tonight that my 256MB SD card came in the mail, so I will start taking pictures tomorrow. […]
Hulk here now. No understand “blog.” Hulk type stuff for people. Go see Hulk movie!!! Hulk mad!!!
Witold sent me this great link earlier tonight: www.pixecute.com/. The author set up a pixel person template and is asking (I think) readers to edit the template and create a pixel perosn of their own. Then you email him an dhe links to your site and posts your image in his gallery. I was very […]
It looks like all the rumors were true, all the speculation was warranted, and all the secrets were leaked… The new IBM PowerPC 970 chip will be in the new G5 Macintosh’s which will be announced on Monday at the WWDC in SF.
Apple “accidentally” posted the new computers in the Apple Store last night, and […]
I am going to try to upgrade to moveabletype version 2.64 right now. Wish me luck. This could go awry. Afterwards I am going to make some new changes and add some new features.
So I went and saw The Hulk straight after work tonight. I’ll say this once, loud and clear… The Hulk fucking rocked! Forget the bad reviews for those who say it was “lackluster”. They are wrong.
Obviously they selected the absolute worst sequences for the previews. The animation, rendering, textures, lighting, and sound effects are incredible. […]
Freitag is this great company that makes waterproof messenger bags out of old truck tarps. You may have seen these around town or around cool people’s shoulders. Well, they took it a step further now with ::: Freitag F-CUT :::, a very cool online application that let’s you browse the tarps and cut your own […]
I am a small technology guy. I don’t follow major scientific breakthroughs that don’t immediately impact personal electronics or cars for the most part. I stumbled across an article this afternoon about a seriously revolutionizing new technology that is BIG, industrial stuff - not my usual interest. It’s really pretty unbelievable. This is one to […]
This time with HSBC and FirstIB. I’ll add them to my list of conquered companies soon. That list currently contains Sprint, Voicestream, ConsumerInfo, Verizon, and a few others… Some of you might know my micro-triumphs. In any case, some of you also might know that I have only had an online bank since 1995. Never […]
reddingk.com(Red Ink like Blood) has these great prints that I must have. Witold sent this over to me last week. I am ordering the whole set of Perilous Predicaments for my dining room wall. I love them.
This one is called, “a figure eight too soon in december.” How fun is that!!??
I can’t go the whole day without mentioning that Apple did, in fact release their new line of G5 towers today, and they are FANTASTIC! The highest end dual 2Ghz G5 tops out at only $3000, which is a sick deal for the “fastest personal computer in the world”… Plus they completely redesigned the case […]
David Read wrote a great article this morning on MacCentral.com, Power Mac G4s and G5s compared, which gives a nicely detailed look at specifics in the new architecture and all the expected performance benefits. If you don’t know what L3 cache is, you probably shouldn’t bother reading it. It’s mostly for nerds. Like Joergen for […]
Hulk smell nerds!!!! Hulk SMASH nerds!!!! Now Hulk multi-multi-millionaire($63 million this week alone), Hulk hire GAR-i-Gose lawyer to keep hulk out trouble. No more missile for Hulk. Hulk sick and tired of swatting missiles… ONLY SMASH!!!!

After a few days of work, I have finally accomplished something new, and maybe pretty great. Using a PHP script originally found on emptypages.org along with the list of moveabletype database field also posted there, I was able to create this new author archive feature access by clicking the little book icon under each entry. […]
I love Mark Evanier’s blog. I also love ‘Sanford and Son’. I mean I love it. I own two seasons on dvd. When I watch it, I laugh so hard that I punch the sofa and Renee walks out of the room. When I worked at the Museum of Television and Radio I would stay […]

We all know that nobody will top Triple T (Terrible Terry Tate) as the single greatest web ad campaign in the history of the world. I don’t care what you say.
I never understood the connection between Tiger Woods and Buick. It always fet weird to me. I guess Buick was always a big PGA sponsor, […]
You might or might not remember a recent (June 6th) thread about an air guitar contest here in NYC.
Well, Christian Finnigan of the Tower of Hubris was the MC for the debacle, and I am sorry to say, that it appears we all missed out on what could have been one of the funniest nights […]
Speaking of Jeff Rossi ruining my life, I meant to post this thread of emails where he actually did something good for a change. He signed up for the greatest email newsletter EVER! The Skirmish Paintball News. Please read the contents of the latest issue in the email Rossi sent me here:
So i guess when […]
