This why I love Chris. Halfway across thw Queensboro bridge he turns to me and goes, 'This would be the perfect time for a terrorist to blow up the bridge'. Always thinking.

Anybody know if Wunderman was officially closed? My calls never went through.

Granted, we were all inconvenienced with BLACKOUT 2003, (Why do the media whores have to label every goddamn thing!?) and we all had to deal with the Africa Hot weather. But there was one thing that really bothered me. One thing that really got under my skin. It wasn't that each time I hit a light switch I'd let out a Homer Simpson, DOAH! It wasn't the candle wax that spilled onto my suede couch. It wasn't my mother calling me every five mintues giving me her own 1010 WINS update.
It wasn't the profuse sweat dripping off my body even though I lay still in my bed. It wasn't the neighbors behind me who decided at 1:00 am, to have a pool party and not invite me. The nerve? You know what bothered me the most? It was the fucking little goomba, dickhead who had just bought the last pack of "C" batteries at the town convenience store. And do you know what this dickface said? "As long as I got them, fuck everybody else." Well guess what fucking batteries I needed jerkoff? I don't know what stopped me from ramming the batteries he held, up his ass sidesways, but I just shook my head and went on to the next deli and got raped when I paid $5 for two "C" batteries.
BLACKOUT 2003... FUCK YOU!

This would have been the perfect night for terrorists to bring in some "material"...

We had attempted looting here on Amsterdam Avenue between 95th and 96th. Some guys must have thrown in a brick into the window of a "jewelry store" (more like a pawn shop,) at 5:30PM yesterday. What they could not have expected was for the owner to have a gun and to know how to use it...

Both on 9/11 and Thursday afternoon I walked home in the most ridiculously high heels. Okay, they're not ridiculously high unless you actually have to walk two miles in them, but I digress. The only time on both occasions that I felt the most vulnerable was when I was halfway across the Queensboro bridge...too far to run either direction if a plane were headed straight at it (me). I kept envisioning my fabulously-heeled-self impaled on a random spike of metal somewhere below. (Never would I have imagined myself bloated and purple found days later washed up on the rocks with maggots growing munching her eye sockets. Never!) Anyway, I'm glad you made it home safely and I look forward to reading the rest of your adventure.

My Dad works for PSE&G...word around the offices was that this wasnt an accident. They're saying it was hackers. Its pretty much impossible for all of that to happen without foul play...in my mind it was a test to see how we handled it...besides no deaths and no looting WE FAILED. I have fears that it will happen again, only on a bigger scale.
