Two guys formerly from the Omni Group of software developers (OmniWeb, Omni Grafle) have broken away and create something new and extraordinary. Delicious Library is currently in very limited beta, but ThinkSecret evaluated a copy, and posted many screenshots. Basically, Delicious Library is a beautiful application for cataloging and organizing all of your physical media, such as DVDs, CDs, books, video games, etc. With tight integration with Amazon.com’s product database, the app provides all the product details available from Amazon, along with cover art, prices, marketplace prices, one-click shopping, a recommendation engine, and a sweet method of tracking which items you have lent to friends. Sweetest feature - use your iSight camera to scan the barcodes of your stuff to automatically find and fill the infol. You really should see this program. I am excited by the idea that I might, someday soon, organize my 800 CDs and 200 DVDs, 200 video games, and shelf-loads of books.
