I don’t normally react publically to celebrity deaths, but it’s kind of crazy that Johnny Cochran just died. The article says it was a brain tumor. Crazy. Bizarre. The OJ trial was such a huge part of popular culture, and the most colorful figure (other than the bloody OJ himself) is now dead. I met Johnny Cochran one time outside of the Woolworth Building where his NY offices were. My company was in the same building. I yelled “JOHNNY!!!” from across the sidewalk. He waved. That was all.
