We all know that Pope John Paul II has passed away. I personally think it’s tragic the way he suffered, and barbaric the way his body is being displayed, out in the open with his little feet sticking out from under his gowns. It’s terrible. Wakes are horrible, even for the Pope.
What isn’t terrible is this unbelievable 360º view of the mourning crowds in St. Peter’s Square. This is truly breathtaking. Enjoy it.

that makes me sick.
not really because of any particular religious belief, but more because i made it spin around and around a million times until i felt like i was on that gravitron ride from the boardwalk. ima gonna go puke some cotton candy now.
That also makes me sick, well actually it didn’t make me sick. The only reason I’m up right now is because I woke up with a horrible stomach ache.

about the panoramas: it would be even better if they developed sort of the same thing with a “weave” feature, so you could move around the crowd and for example see all four sides of things like the lightpost, or that monument, or get closer look at that lady’s ass. per se…
