Sorry. Shit’s crazy. I haven’t had any time to write at all. I’ve barely been surfing. Between watching the news, working my ass off, and enjoying my Labor Day weekend, I’ve not had any time for this website. I am headed to Cincinnati tomorrow (today) and coming back Thursday. I’ll have plenty of stuff to write then.
Until then, I am hoping some of the other authors (hint hint) can’t step up to the plate and write some good shit. Mike? Jay? Jay? Gil? Lisa? Anyone…?

I went back to waiting tables after a few years away from the whole scene. I had done it for so long I thought I could just jump back in, no sweat. It felt a little weird approaching the first table to describe some kind of dover sole sauteed in a lemon caper sauce with a side of spinach. I opened my mouth and a sqeaky unrecognizable voice came out and timidedly recited “a few things in addition to the menu…”
It took me a minute to remember how to open my mouth and say what I needed to. To table 34, to people in my life- no squeaking, no wavering, no problem. I’m still working on the people-in-my-life part of that.
Anyway, I’ve been wanting to post for awhile but I’ve been having trouble finding my voice.
