I’m not expert on entertainment or popular culture anymore. I haven’t seen a movie in months. I think Dr. Phil is the best show on television. He gives some seriously good advice, and because of him I am in more touch with my inner self than I have ever been before. I want to have sex with the SuperNanny even though I know she’s a cow. And because of her, I guess I am also in more touch with my outer self than I have ever been before. I am PSYCHED when Oprah wears new earrings or gets up on her high horse, made of billions of dollars. I HAVE 3 CHANNELS and one of them is BBC World!!! Maybe there’s a Slingbox in my future, but until then, I am out of the loop, I guess…
But who the FUCK are YOU to not tell me Domino was a FANTASTIC movie! Seriously, I just spent the last 2+ hours RIVETED to my laptop screen. Keira Knightley, even though you don’t have any breasts, I LOVE you. Mickey Rourke, steroids, plastic surgery and all, I love you again, and I believe in my heart of hearts that you could take that similarly steroided, surgeried, and 60 Sly Stallone, Rocky Balboa or not. You’d kick his sagging, muscular ass.
It’s like the Scott brothers can do no wrong. This one is from Tony, you know, Top Gun, Crimson Tide, True Romance, Man on Fire, Days of Thunder, Revenge, Beverly Hills Cop 2, and we can all forgive him for The Last Boyscout. This movie, I swear, is fantastic. Metacritic-be-damned, 36 my ass. “The movie is trash shot to look like art imitating trash.” Fuck you Owen Gleiberman. Nice name. I watched you on NY1 a thousand times and never once understood whether you liked a fucking movie or not. Drop dead you pretentious, overeducated, undertalented, visionless prick. Roger Ebert’s got it right, or at least close, as usual. Don’t drop dead. In fact, I hope he recovers because he’s the only movie critic with half a brain in his head and a half a thyroid in his neck.
Here’s a review for you all. Watch this movie now. If you don’t like it you’re either a pussy, or retarded. End of review.

I love the SuperNanny… although that naughty corner shit doesn’t work on my kids. Oh they have a naughty corner, but it’s on top of the chest freezer in the kitchen. Why? I hear you ask?? Well, If one of the children is sitting ONTOP of the freezer, she can’t wander off while I’m occupied with one of the other children. Also, the child in question cannot be annoyed / interfered with by the other children while on time out, as they’re clearly out of reach.
I don’t get to watch many movies either, a) because I have three kids and can’t get a baby sitter and b)the money is spent on everything else! Tv is my friend, my constant companion…. my escape!
I believe Dr Phil could sort out all the problems I have with my husband and entire family in one half hour episode. I believe Oprah would make the best boss, and if I had to pick a dream job it would be working for her, because I’m SURE they get cars as increases!!
I fantasise about being Meredith Grey in Grey’s Anatomy, and would sell my soul to Lex Luthor. I am a desperate housewife, just not so damned hot!
I reckon I would make a great detective like those wonder-sleuths in CSI, but often can’t find my phone in my handbag. I would be perfect for those garden and room makeover shows, coz I’d be spending someone elses money, and I wouldn’t have to live with the job I had done.
Basically, everything I watch on tv, is the fabulous part of me.
Everything that is left over, is the normal I’m-too-busy-to-finish-anything-I-start part of me.
It seems Chris gets me, understands the way the normal average tv lover thinks… I WILL go see Domino, just to see if our opinion on movies os the same aswell.
