I am currently recovering from the Spain wedding / vacation. Sorry for the lack of posts since I got back on Friday night. Recovering means I accidentally takes naps in the afternoon after walking around like a zombie at work all day.

First of all, let me publicly thank Andy and Veronica for being the catalyst that brought me and my friends to Spain for a week. It was absolutely incredible. The best wedding (9 hours long, plus after-drinks) I have ever attended, with the best food, in the most beautiful place I have ever seen in person. Thank you.

I took over 1200 photos over the course of the 9 days I was away. These include mountainside villas in Elorrio, the Guggenheim in Bilbao, little lizards in Durango, titties in San Sebastian, and Gaudi in Barcelona. I have been through about 800 picts so far, and the task of sorting, selecting, photoshopping, and uploading grows more tiresome by the second. I don’t know how or when I will finish, but I am trying hard. As usual, only about 10% of my photos are decent, and only 1% pretty good. I suspect I’ll post about 3% and try to hide my mediocrity as best as is possible on Flickr. For now, this is a shot of the mountains in Elorrio, a small town about an hour west of Bilbao where the wedding took place. The wedding hall / bar / restaurant is called Mendi Goikoa, and is absolutely amazing.

On another front, I’ll be motivating myself to make some changes around here very soon. I’m not a designer and therefore my ability is limited. But I have some ideas and I plan on finding a way to make them happen. You might have noticed my sidebar was broken for a while and the page looked all messed up. It seems that Eric Anderson’s Del.icio.us Integrator plugin finally crapped out completely. Luckily I realized that Del.icio.us now provides functions for doing the exact same thing directly using their Linkrolls, without the need for a Wordpress plugin. So I switched and it seem to be working well. Even the RSS is working again.

OK, that’s it for now. I hope to have some photos and stories and stories soon, and a redesign soon after that. In the meantime, watch the sidebar for new links because they are very easy for me to add…
