The gecko from under my ass is alive and well. I know that because last night while I watched TV, he kept climbing out from behind the TV cabinet along the wall. He is very alert, and VERY fast. The second I even moved my head, he would dart back behind the cabinet in fear. He doesn’t know how much I love him yet. I eventually went and got the camera ready, wanting to get a good shot to share with you all, but the second I got it out, he stopped coming out. He must be camera shy. I climbed back there as best I could, and in the dark, using a flash and manual focus, I was able to catch this blurry glimpse of him.
Eventually I’ll get a good picture, but for now, this will have to do.
Because he’s elusive and translucent, and doesn’t make any noise, I decided to name him Skype.
Everyone, meet Skype the gecko from behind my TV. I love him.
Also, did know that scientists have never known exactly how gecko’s stick to surfaces until relatively very recently (2002)? It’s actually kind of fascinating.

I had a very similar experience except instead if a gecko it was some girl and instead of her being behind my TV she had her own place and I had to look through her windows. She too was camera shy. I hope you situation turns out better than mine did.
