After the Knife

Let me see if I can translate via blog how much pain I was in after my hernia surgery…
OW! OW! OW! FUCKING OW! There, I think that sums it up. Let’s not forget about the swelling in my “area.” Yeah, so much fun! I could barely move the after the surgery, but boy, let me tell you, the next day took the cake. I couldn’t even fart it hurt so much. Now, the nurse told me that had I’d been 30 years older, I wouldn’t have had that much pain. I swear, I never wanted to be 63 more than that day!
I would never wish this surgery on anyone. I can only imagine what a really big surgery feels like. Breast implants, c-section? Ladies I tip my hat.

    Hey Jay,

Did the doctor give you some vicodin?

Oxycodone. Shit is fantastic, but I only take when necessary. It’s been four days post-op and it’s feeling a lot better. I actually sneezed today for the first time since the surgery… HOLY SHIT did that remind me of the pain! It’s in such a sensitive area.

Dude, some serious surgery! Having a doctor come in with a knife around that “area” is scary. I can not say I would do it. I would much rather us a raincoat that get cut on. Friend says its like building a fire right under your……….and sticking pins in them. I am sure you already know.
