Adobe Photoshop CS3 Beta out and cracked already

Unfortunately I do not own a copy of Photoshop CS2, only CS, and unfortunately, the CS3 Beta requires a CS2 Serial Number. Lucky for us all, some nerds cracked the Intel Mac version in about a day after its release. I found the instructions on demonoid.com, but they were a little confusing, so the following is my clearer rewrite.

1. Download the CS3 Beta from Adobe at http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/photoshopcs3/. It’s 684MB. Install it.
2. Open it and make sure it works. Don’t enter any serials. Just choose the Trial Period option of 30 days, (which actually turns out to be 2 days.)
3. Get a copy of HexEdit at http://hexedit.sourceforge.net/. Install it.
4. Right-click the file “Adobe Photoshop CS3″ in the folder “Applicatios/Adobe Photoshop CS3″ and choose “Show Package Contents”.
5. Go to “/Contents/MacOS/” and drag the file “Adobe Photoshop CS3″ onto HexEdit
6. In the menubar, choose “Find”, then “Go to address…”
7. Type in 0×30AE5EA. Make sure “Hex” is selected and click “GO”.
8. In the menubar, choose “Find”, then “Find and replace”.
9. In the “Find” box paste in this “81ECDC00″ (without quotes)
10. In the “Replace” box, paste “E9E20200″ (without quotes)
11. Make sure “Hex” is selected in the radio buttons. (Very important.)
12. Click “Find next”. Text and numbers “81 EC DC 00″ will be highlighted.
13. Click “Replace”. Those numbers should now become “E9 E2 02 00″. If not, you fucked up.
14. Close the Find and Replace window.
15. In the “File” menu, choose “Save”.
16. In the package you previously opened, there should now be 2 files, “Adobe Photoshop CS3″ with is the edited, saved version you just made, and “Adobe Photoshop CS3~” which is a backup of the original. Leave them as-is.
17. Quit HexEdit.
18. Open Photoshop CS3. All should be right in the world. No registration or beta timeout dialog box at all.

Cs3Beta

On my Macbook Pro, this version of Photoshop opens in literally 3 seconds. 3. Enjoy.

What do you mean by it not letting you ‘open the setup’?

And a quick note to Chris…

After step 13, the File>Save option is not available until the Find and Replace window is closed.

One day Chris will learn to use his powers for good instead of evil. And then where will we all be?

‘good’ is such a subjective term…

Chris you are my hero. This works like a charm on my Core 2 Macbook.

Jordan I am having the same problem. I double click to open the installer and it opens a command prompt quickly and closes it. The installer won’t start. I guess very few people have experienced this. If I find the solution, I will post it. Until then good luck.

I found the problem was with a bad file download. After downloading for the 4th time, I got a good file.

Ok guys, I downloaded Adobe Photoshop on the website of Adobe (Beta, I think) but the file size isn’t 684 MB, it’s 795.6 MB. The file name is: ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE.dmg
Do you think this crack will still work with the Photoshop that I downloaded?
    Thanks!
