I give up. This is the cutest thing of all time. This family adopted baby hippo, Jessica, when she was washed up in a flood at only 1 day old. She is 7 now, and completely tame, door-openingly intelligent, and the friendliest deadliest animal I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to believe, but amazing to watch. Hippos are technically the most dangerous animals in Africa, killing more humans per year than any other animal. Jessica doesn’t seem to mind.

A massage before bed time, sheets to be warm under, and food whenever she craves it…it’s a good life for a hippo. Heck, for anyone!
