shoplifting seagull
I was a little unsure whether or not I was going to post this. I think it’s great but I’m not sure if it is for everyone. Originally this video came in my email as a giant animated GIF with no sound. This YouTube version is considerably better. Basically it’s great news footage of a seagull that regularly goes into the same deli and steals a bag of the same type of Doritos every day.
Watch! He s-l-o-w-l-y enters the store……and then he runnnnnnns……..OUT! A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing crisps from a neighborhood shop. The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn’t looking ( so a camera was installed ), and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos. Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and becomes a feast, for other birds! The seagull’s shoplifting started early this month, when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen , Scotland , and helped himself to a bag of chips. Since then, he’s become a “regular”. He always takes the same type of chips. Customers have begun paying for the seagull’s stolen bags of chips,… because they think it’s so funny !”
[thanks to louise for the email.]

Oh, I see. It’s cute when a bird steals potato chips, but when I steal Doritos to lure kids to my van they call me a “criminal.”
I’m sorry, but every time I hear a Scottish accent I can’t help thinking…
“WILLIAM, move your HEAD! Would ya look at the size of dat boys head? It’s like an orange on a toothpak!”
or…
“IF ya want body AND ya think I’m sexy, come on sugar LET ME KNOW!”
So THAT’S news? Come on media!
It is cute, though.
I think this seagull updates its blog more than you do Chris.
I read your post on another person’s blog about wow and time wasting… and saw that you still paid so as to keep your characters. I thought I should tell you…
You do not lose your characters when you stop paying for your subscription.
Seriously. I stopped paying for a few months due to work obligations. Then, three-four months later, I picked the game up, paid the subscription and much to my surprise, my characters were still there. Talked with a few and seems they do not get rid of them. Once you have them set, you have them… account paid or no. You just can’t –play- them without paying.
