polaroid’s future
Polaroid has made no secret of the fact that they are planning to stop producing Polaroid film in favor of embracing their new digital future. Much like Kodak, they are betting that digital is the only future of photography. Of course, nothing will ever look quite as a good as a real Polaroid picture, but I suppose all will eventually succumb to the megapixel.
In an effort to try to break ahead of the digital competition, and in many ways pay homage to their own heritage, Polaroid is about to release the Polaroid On The Go printer. If it works as promised, they may actually be on to something. This printer is small, and cool, and is just what the megapixel world need to help forget about the old Polaroid.

End of an era and very upsetting. Will buy all the Polaroid films I can get my hands on.
