Ebay and Paypal are complete fuckwits. Useless pieces of shit. No wonder their business is crumbling. I can’t wait for these ancient remnants of a the web long past to be gone forever. They should have collapsed with the rest of the first .com bubble bursting, but somehow survived, unchanged, for all these years. Garbage.
Simple problem really, I can’t login to either account. Forgot my passwords. It’s been a really long time. Really long. Ebay is asking security questions that I can’t answer. For example: “Phone number:” I have no fucking idea what my phone number was 3 years ago. No idea. Paypal, the same thing, I don’t know my old phone number. They also ask address, and although I am sure I am typing the right address, it won’t accept it. They also have a convenient option for “Email” where they send an email to the email on file. The problem is that they are too incompetent to send the fucking email. It’s been 30 minutes and I have received nothing. So I called their “customer service” number : 402-935-7733 and screamed profanities at a robot while she kept asking for my phone number. Eventually it got tired of hearing the c-word and I was put on a holding cue for an actual human. I waited about 15 minutes and a customer service rep actual picked up! “Hello, this is Brad…” Click. Disconnected. Seriously.
I am beside myself with anger. I will not call back. I’ll just never, ever, ever use Paypal or Ebay again. I humbly request you all to do the same.
Fuck Paypal. Fuck Ebay.
