total eclipse of the heart, literally

I’ve posted a few of these before. Here is a genius literal lyrics version of Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Ahh, yes. Bonnie Tyler’s total eclipse of logic and culture, reclaimed from the slag heap of over-thought, over-wrought, over-produced music videos of the ’80s. Song was written by Jim Steinman (Meat Loaf collaborator). Bonnie has had a litany of stage names, but apparently her birth name is Gaynor Hopkins. Explains a lot.
