hoops & yoyo

hoops & yoyo are two Shockwave Flash animated characters created by the devils over at Hallmark (who profit from selling cards and gifts for EVERY tragedy known to man). I don’t know who is responsible for hoops & yoyo (apparently some dude named ‘Bob’), but man, this shit is genius.
Apparently, they’ve been around for […]

bowman 2

Yeah, as if Bowman 1 wasn’t great enough, they made a new one, Bowman 2, with a few more options, and a bird hunt mode that seriously could not be more satisfying. Keep playing until you get good and can shoot your own arrows out of the air, or pin 2 birds with one arrow. […]

megaman vs. ghosts ‘n goblins

Sweet sweet classic gaming mashup. Megaman vs. Ghosts ‘n Goblins is fantastic. I played the first board of Ghosts ‘n Goblins with Megaman and kicked ass. I have no idea if you ever get to play Megaman boards with Arthur.

Monk Mail, from CareerBuilder

This is one of the best viral campaigns we have ever seen. Monk Mail, from CareerBuilder, is a brilliant little app where you select and customize a chimpanzee and record or type out a message to be delivered. The whole thing is powered by the underutilized technology from Oddcast, and it works so well, I […]

shock absorbers

Most everyone knows that I’m a booby man. Some guys are ass men. I am a booby man. I like big jiggly boobs. I’m not sorry about it.
I also know how difficult athleticism must be for women blessed with the kind of DD+ blessings that I love. That’s why any new sports bra technology should […]

emerald nuts

Emerald Nuts is running a bizarre but fantastic ad campaign on TV and on the web. Basically they create completely insane phrases with words that start with the letters E-M-E-R-A-L-D–N-U-T-S. For example, “Eagle-eyed Machete Enthusiasts Recognize A Little Druid Networking Under The Stairs… Even Druids love nuts.” Then, they make a commercial out of the […]

The Wand

Watch this fantastic short Flash film called ‘The Wand’ created by Nick Worthey that won the Intel Indies Film Contest for the week ending Jan. 20, 2006.
There’s not much to say about it except that it’s simple, funny and thought provoking.
It’s brilliant.

Samorost 2

I sort of can’t believe I forgot to post this game when I first saw it. You might remember the delightful first edition of this game, Samorost (”self-grower”), that Witold wrote about here back in September of 2003! Samorost 2 is more of what you would have loved from that version. The puzzles are hard […]

heli attack

Heli Attack is a complicated but really amazing Flash platform game. Sort of stunning that you can do all this, this well, in Flash. Nice work over at miniclips. Excellent pixel art too.

gun run

Gun Run is a very fun little flash side-scrolling game. I rarely find anything I play more than once, but I have played this thing about 30 times. Enjoy.

poplockin’

This is a pretty sweet flash rhythm game, like Dance Dance Revolution, where you match keys along with the beat of the music in order to make your player poplock dance. There’s also a mode where you choreograph a poplockin’ sequence, and upload an image for the head, like my example of George W.

sketch animation

I LOVE this flash animation. Love. It’s a time lapsed animation of drawing of a woman in progress. I don’t want to spoil it, but that artists arts with skeleton and works his way through the completed drawing. Not only is it fascinating, but it was also kind of drawing-educational for me. I love this […]
