stephanie

You might know her from work, or play, or the New York nightlife and restaurant scene… but you probably know her from her pixel person:

No matter how you know, or don’t know her, Stephanie is the person I know who most needed to start a weblog. She is a designer, awesome writer, and a photographer, and now, finally, she is a blogger. Honestly, it is way better than even I expected, and now I think she is bound to surpass my audience size and win some kind of bloggy award in a matter of weeks. I can’t recommend her writing enough.

I recently wrote her this email, thanking her for her blog:

“I am not hitting on you, or blowing smoke up your ass. Your writing is fantastic, your honesty is inspiring, and your love life is fascinating. I feel like I am doing something wrong, I swear to god, by reading what you’ve written - like somehow I am peering through your window with nightvision binoculars, or through the keyhole of your front door. It feels like you couldn’t possibly expect people who know you to read this diary, but that it’s OK for the anonymous public. I don’t actually believe that. I believe you just don’t care, and that’s what makes you courageous. My website sucks because there are too many stories I don’t have the skill or the bravery to tell. What’s left is too tame and too sterile to be interesting. But I do have good stories, believe me. Thanks for telling yours. Please don’t stop - I am addicted.”

She’s hot too. Here’s her real picture:

OK, now go visit stephanieklein.blogs.com ( a brand new TypePad site) right now, and read, and read, and read…
